Chest Training Tip #8 from Gordon!

=====================================

“For the flat bench press, push through the top of each rep.

It will only be a few extra inches, but your shoulders
should come OFF of the bench.

Goes for bar or dumbells.

You may find you need to lower your weight at first but this
will add that full definition we are all looking for in the
pecs.”

Chest Training Tip #16 from Jason!

=====================================

“This is a tip i got from my buddy…

You do pushups, but at the bottom, bounce 5 times.

Finish your push up after that, and repeat 5 times.

Next, move your arms in to shoulder width and repeat.

Next move your arms in again so your hands are almost
touching and repeat.

Great for your triceps too!”

Chest Training Tip #1 from Jeff!

=====================================

To work INNER CHEST for some “cleavage”, once you get done
with your bench press sets, grab a single heavy dumbbell.

Wrap both hands around the handle while laying on a flat
bench and do “partial reps” of about 8-12 inches at the
top of the movement.

Go for 8-12 reps and really SQUEEEEZE your chest together
throughout these “mini reps” to get a final burn in your
inner chest fibers

When I think of weight training the first thing that comes to mind is early Arnie (Arnold Schwarzenegger). Muscles on muscles.

It is not really an accurate picture. Weight training can be done by anyone of any age. It is not just a body builder thing. It is something we should all consider. Some of the benefits of weight training are

* Increased strength

* Increased lean muscle mass

* Increased resting metabolic rate

* Decreased Body Fat

* Improved insulin sensitivity

* Reduced risk of diabetes

* Increased HDL cholesterol

* Increased bone density

* Increased natural growth hormone

* Increased natural testosterone

* Improved psychological well-being and self-esteem

Did I mention it is also great for anti-aging. You can turn back the clock with weight training. As your body ages, muscle can break down but if you are constantly working and building this muscle you will not lose it. You don’t have to look like a weight lifter. You can look fit and toned without having bulging muscles.

Do yourself a favour and do a little weight training. When you see the results, you will never go back.

Weight-loss fad using tongue patches makes eating painful

A small postage stamp-sized patch is surgically attached to your tongue, making it painful and difficult to eat.

A DRASTIC new weight-loss fad has set tongues wagging in California, though not necessarily from any desire to spread the news of its miraculous benefits.

The “Chugay Tongue Patch” produces a “means of weight loss never before offered by other surgeons”, according to the Chugay Cosmetic Surgery website.

The “patch” is a mesh square about the size of a postage stamp, which, when surgically attached to the tongue, makes eating “very difficult and painful”.

“I’d say the Chugay Tongue Patch is a daily reminder of how just because your physician has an MD behind their name it doesn’t mean they’re bright,” Canadian obesity doctor Yoni Freedhoff told the Chicago Tribune.

The pain from the patch limits users to a liquid diet, causing patients to lose up to 13kg in the month-long program.

During that time, patients were put on a liquid diet that “fulfilled their nutritional needs”.

The Chugay website said 10 people in California had so far subjected themselves to the radical treatment.

The patients “were typically able to return to work the following day” after surgery.

How do you lose weight? Do you eat low carbs, high carbs, or no carbs? Do you count calories or not? What about high protein, fat or low fat? Can you lose weight by taking tablets or by drinking shakes? How can you find out what is right when all the experts seem to disagree.

There is plenty of scientific research to prove the claims of the experts but it seems that they keep changing ‘the facts’. Every month there is a new method of losing weight backed by scientific evidence and raving reviews by people who claim miraculous weight loss results.

Can You Really Trust these ‘experts’ and their claims?

Last year, more than $40 billion was spent on weight loss products, just in America. If the pills and supplements work, why are there more overweight people than ever?

The weight loss industry does not want you to lose weight. The supplement companies make money by taking advantage of your need. They would be cutting off their cash supply if their products worked.

The only way to lose weight permanently and to remain healthy is to follow a nutritional, balanced diet and sensible exercise program. There are some simple rules to follow and some foods to avoid. You do have to exercise regularly.

Exercise is vital to your general health and is not just a weight loss technique.

There is no easy fix, no miracle pill and no magic powder.

The good news is that it is not difficult to gain muscle mass, increase your metabolism and begin to see the health benefits, almost immediately. It is never too late to start and you may be pleasantly surprised at how easy it becomes to look great and feel fantastic.
